Take your Breath Support Bootcamp experience to the next level with a private online lesson with Dr. Julia!
Once you are already registered for the Bootcamp, click the button above to request your private lesson and join the scheduling queue.
This optional add-on gives you the opportunity to work one-on-one with Dr. Julia Nielsen in a 40-minute private Zoom session focused specifically on your breath support coordination. These sessions are available exclusively to registered Breath Support Bootcamp 2025 participants and are limited to the first 25 singers who request a lesson.
What’s included:
A 40-minute private lesson via Zoom
One-on-one feedback tailored to your vocal habits and goals
Targeted work on breath coordination exercises from the Bootcamp
Optional coaching on a short excerpt from your repertoire
A recording of the session available for you to download and keep
How it works:
Private sessions will take place at the midpoint of the Bootcamp, on the following dates:
Wednesday, July 16 (10:30am–1:30pm PT)
Friday, July 18 (10:00am–5:30pm PT)
Saturday, July 19 (10:00am–1:45pm PT)
Sunday, July 20 (4:00–7:00pm PT)
Saturday, July 26 (1:30–4:00pm PT)
Once your request is received, you’ll be emailed a list of available times. Appointments will be scheduled in the order that requests are received.
If we’re unable to find a mutually convenient time during these dates, alternate times may be possible depending on Dr. Julia’s schedule, but are not guaranteed.
Cost and Payment:
The fee for this session is $95, payable on the day of the lesson via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal.
Payment is not collected in advance—details will be provided when your session is booked.
What to prepare:
Bring your questions about breath support and be ready to apply what you’ve learned in Bootcamp. We’ll spend most of the session working on familiar exercises to refine your coordination, but you’re also welcome to bring a short excerpt from your repertoire if you’d like to apply the techniques directly to your music.
Technical Requirements:
Your lesson will take place on Zoom, and we’ll need to activate Zoom’s “Original Sound for Musicians” setting before you sing. Without this setting enabled, Zoom may mistakenly filter out your singing as background noise.
This setting is available on laptops and desktops (I’ll guide you through it if needed).
It is not available on mobile devices (phones, tablets) unless previously enabled on a computer.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy:
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Late cancellations are subject to the full lesson fee, except in cases of emergency.
