How to Practice: A Follow-Up

So, you spent six weeks examining your practice habits, and building new ones. You tried new things during your practice time, confronted and overcame practice challenges, and met new colleagues on a similar journey.

But the final class is over. Now what?

How to Practice: A Follow-Up is a 90-minute mini-seminar and reunion—delivered live, via Zoom—that will help participants in the 2020 and 2021 How to Practice programs stay engaged, inspired, and accountable in their practice. During this meeting, we will:

  • Give “practice reports”, sharing ongoing challenges and successes

  • Report on the 2-month practice goals we set at our final meeting in February

  • Learn strategies for dealing with lapsed habits

  • Get reinvigorated in our commitment to regular, creative, and joyful practice by being encouraged by peers and colleagues

The session is open to singers who have completed the 4-session How to Practice seminar series, either in 2020 or 2021.

Date: Thursday, April 29, 2021
Time: 6:30-8:00pm (PT)
Cost: $30

Prerequisite: Participation in the 2020 or 2021 How to Practice seminar series
